DAM!!!!!!!!!! So hyped!!!!!!!!!! Really sinister rendition of I got no strings from Pinocchio. James Spader Rocks on the Blacklist (which you guys should check out) but his Ultron is freaking amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • Gustaff

This is going to blow the first movie out of the water easy!
    HULKBUSTER armour!

Marvel just stuck a long one up DC’s a**. Ouch!

    • notsosmartguy

I honestly don’t see how DC can compete now. Zack Snyder is definitely no Joss Whedon. I bet they really regret not letting him make his Wonder Woman movie now.

      • Gustaff

I’m sure they are firing whoever said no to him!

No way in hell. Whedon > Snyder!

Marvel should just let Whedon do whatever he wants. if it comes while he’s on the loo, drunk or even dreaming – LET HIM DO IT! He knows his Marvel. Usually sequels aren’t as good as the first, but AOU looks like it will collapse all the record books. Avengers 1 brought in 1.5 billion, I think 2 will go around 2 billion!

    My predictions
    1. That scene with the ballerinas is a Flashback to Black Widow

  • At 0:28 is that the same jet coulsen and the Agents of SHEILD stole?

    • notsosmartguy

It’s probably not the exact same one just the same type.

Way to make Pinocchio sound threatening – I’m hyped. Spader sounds amazing as Ultron, and this definitely is shaping up to fulfill the “middle-of-the-trilogy-equals-sad” trope

  • Gustaff

Thankfully I please easily and don’t follow any comics so I doubt something as minor as that will get me down. Storyline and characters > costumes/forms for me. Besides, Marvel’s goodwill over the years will soften the blow.

And I’m not against DC (Arrow, Constantine, Flash, Gotham – my favs), I just pointed out their DC’s movie making ‘prowess’ compared to Marvel.

    • disqus_AwYoAf87wI

To be honest it’s hard to compare DC to marvel due to the huge difference in film numbers, come 2020 if the DC slate remains unchanged it will be much more interesting to compare the two. I can smell the flame wars in the air already :)

  • I love Ultron… so much. He’s so calmly threatening! “Tangled in… strings. There are no strings on me” had me squeeling! Wow.

    • notsosmartguy

Definitely could top loki as the favorite MCU villain.

      • Definitely. I like Loki, but I don’t always feel the essence of threat when he’s onscreen. He’s more charmingly crazy. But Ultron… he seems more in control, more confident and more of a threat to the Avengers while at the same time being bats*** crazy. I can’t wait to see him in all his glory!

    • Christoph The Sky Sorcerer

Absolutely. A sleek menacing killing machine wouldn’t make me flinch; I’ve seen enough of those in my moviegoing experience. But a jerky, half-broken robot calmly declaring open season on the human race? THAT scares me.

  • Christoph The Sky Sorcerer

The perversion of the innocent is one of the most powerful manifestations of fear. Just look at the game “Five Nights at Freddy’s” or the Doctor Who episode “Night Terrors”.

  • Christoph The Sky Sorcerer

Hulkbuster armor…amazing villain design…broken shield…promise of major turning point in the Avengers universe…

Yep. I’ve gone and hyped myself. It’s messy.
