I’m guessing Gotham was very successful then

    • K.9

      its been average

  • Deus Ex Machina

It’s cool that they’re doing this without treading on Smallville’s feet. If I’m honest, this sounds kind of lame, but then so did Gotham when I first heard about it, and I’m really liking that show.

    • Gustaff

Yes, but this is obviously just their way of copying the success of Gotham and still not giving us a metahuman story.

  • K.9

Gotham sucks, I don’t see the point in these Batman/Superman themed shows without the main guys in them, just seems pointless. This is why Arrow and The Flash are owning right now.

    • notsosmartguy

      IDK Supergirl sounds awesome

      • K.9

i’m up for giving that a go if it’ll link with flash and arrow

        • notsosmartguy

I heard it might since it’s made by the same guy doing flash and arrow, the teen titans show also in development will also probably link into those as well. I hope it does though the premise in the synopsis sounds interesting on it’s on.

          • K.9

given teasers we’ve been given in Flash building towards Crisis, it only makes sense for Supergirl to both happen and join the Flarrowverse

          • notsosmartguy

That would be awesome so hyped for Supergirl I really hope it’s good.

  • Gustaff

This sounds bad. I mean who the hell wants to know about Superman’s grandfather? This is copy/paste from Gotham. No point in trying to deny it.

I don’t get it. You guys have hundreds of characters to work with, to expand upon and you always come back to Superman/Batman. In this case, without actually giving them to the audience.

Why not give us Batman Beyond with Terry McGinnis as Batman? Try something original that doesn’t sound like you’re promising the moon without actually promising the moon.

  • notsosmartguy

What’s the point of this when we have a Supergirl series coming out? Listen I love Superman but did we really need a show set on Krypton?

    • Because DC is popular on TV at the momenent

      • Christoph The Sky Sorcerer

Exactly. DC knows it can’t compete with Marvel on the big screen, if only because they’re so far behind in terms of how many popular movies they have, so they’re making the most of their current television popularity while they can. Still, it seems like they could have come up with a better idea than “It’s kind of like Gotham but in space.”

  • Whoope it’s being made by Sy-Fi, Just another DC Universe carefuly trying not to tread on each others toes

  • TheTenthPlanet

    Yay!!! A Smallville sequel/prequel.
