Yes, of course he can be the villain, it would be a scandal not to have him :P

       A scandal…

      Hehehe….

      • That Fedora Guy

It would be a problem. The. Final. Problem,

  • AmyPondIsAwesome

If he’s the second most dangerous that would be kind of like lowering the threat which would be bad.

    • Jneill

      Good Point

    • JimMoriarty

On the other hand, he’s Moriarty’s ‘Watson’. It would, a) Be extremely bad because Moran will be trying to kill a lot of people because Moriarty is dead (?) b) It would be interesting seeing him and John fighting, because Sherlock and Moriarty were exact opposites but were still the same. John and Sebastian are probably opposite but the same too, because from what we hear in the books, Sebastian was in the ARMY (Like John), he’s well trained with a gun (Like John), and he’s Moriarty’s right hand man

I haven’t read the books, so every new Sherlock episode is a new appearance to me. The more you talk about Sabastian Moran, the more interested I am. He sounds like a brilliant character/villain and I really want to see Moffat’s and Gatiss’s adaption of him. Perhaps he will become the new villain for series 3 as he either:
        a) Tries to take revenge for his dead master Moriarty and obviously take over the buisness of criminal consultant
Or b) He will be setting up the next game for Sherlock and ultimately try to bring his downfall and eventually bring back Moriarty as a surprise twist for the final.

        • JimMoriarty

All the evidence is pointing towards Sebastian being the sniper that was aiming at John in ‘The Reichenbach Fall’, so if this is true, then Moran doesn’t know Sherlocks alive. If they also keep up the structure of TAOTEH (Empty house), then Mr Moran kills a young rich gambler, so he might be killing the people he thinks are connected to Moriarty’s death. Also, by adding up the evidence, remember that Mark Gatiss wrote “The Hounds of Baskerville”, and due to that, Mycroft didn’t appear much. This evidence may help us dictate whether Mycroft knew that Sherlock was alive, because I have a feeling that, if anyone, Mycroft will be the one to tell John

        • JimMoriarty

As a matter of fact though, I’ve never read the books either, I use the internet :)

          • TheSoundoftheDoctor

What would we do without the internet? A Time Lord’s best friend.

          • JimMoriarty

“What do Timelords pray too?”, “GOOGLE!!”

  • http://doctormerlock.blogspot.com/ Jenna-Louise Coleman

    Oh, why of course.

Series 3 is looking more interesting after each new news article. I’m most looking forward to it. It will be different seeing Mark taking the reigns of the opener instead of his partner Steven. Perhaps it could mean Steven is writing the final for this series.

All I can say is that you’d better live up to my expectations, Mr Gatiss, or I’ll find you, and I’ll skiiiiiiiiin you

    • Eternalite

You seem to enjoy skinning people.

      • That Fedora Guy

        Ohhhh yeeeeeeeeah

        • Eternalite

What happened to you with Doctor Who TV if you don’t mind my asking?

          • That Fedora Guy

I said something as a joke (Well, it was meant to be. In all fairness, it was offensive, but I never meant it to be), and apparently doctor who tv took mega offense from it and blocked me from commenting, possibly forever. You can see the entire thing on page 4, posted by ‘guest’ (Because I accidentally deleted it whilst trying to edit it :/), you’ll notice it when you see it

If he’s going to do what he says he’ll do, I’ll make him rich. If not… I’ll make him into shoes lol

      • ThePowerofRory

        Yep :P

    • whovianLOL

       what a lovley thought

  • TARDISkey123

I’m probably completely wrong here, but it’s worth mentioning I suppose. In The Reichenbach Fall, Sherlock and Moriarty talked a lot about Joanne Sebastian Bach. “Sebastian”… Could of been a teaser too…. Who knows?! Anyway, I hope it is Moran. I mentioned him in another post I believe wondering if he’ll be the antagonist/ villain for S03.
