According to Digital Spy, Primeval will return to our screens Tuesday 24th May.

The 6-episode fifth series will air on subscription channel Watch first, as part of the deal that brought Primeval back from extinction.

Watch is available on Sky channel 109 or Virgin Media 124.

ITV1 will show Series 5 later in the year/ early 2012.

    I still think Cutter should come back. I don’t think Matt is that good. And I know Cutter’s been dead for two series’ but there could be this wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey thing and he could come back.

        I’m aware of that, surprisingly.
        I also love Primeval.
        And Cutter was my favourite character so it’s not surprising I don’t like Matt.

          Cutter was good, I don’t think any other character will be as good as he was.

          • I didn’t really like cutter. The programme got better when he left.

          • i thought the show got a lot better when Jenny/Danny was in charge. Cutter was all science and working stuff out in steps, whereas Jenny was more on the spot thinking and Danny was take no prisoners. it just made the show a little more laid back and exciting

        Wait! I mean it isn’t on the same day, so of course it won’t! There can be multiple shows going at the same time.

    im so glad primeval is on, the good thing is it restarts on my birthday. They always leave it a cliff hanger! Cant wait!!
