This looks really good. All I need to do now is wait until July, then re-read Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters. Then I’ll be ready to watch this… :) But this does look good for a first trailer. Can’t wait for more of them.

  • I really cant wait to watch this! :D

  • How will this work? The first was so unfaithful to the book that it’ll start to struggle with the full-novelisation arcs.

Still, I’m excited. The Percy Jackson books were amazing.

    • This one doesn’t seem to be faithful to the books either. It has been ages since I last read it, but I’m certain Grover was held captive and that this was a focal point of the story.

      • I think I’m going to have to keep my bias of having read the book from influencing my review. I’m just going to review it like I would any other film.

But yes Grover was captured. That’s why they go to The Sea of Monsters in the first place. To save Grover. :)

        • Great, so I recall correctly :) I was just getting confused as I thought they venture to The Sea of Monsters to get the Golden Fleece, but I now remember that both of them are there.

          • Yeah Grover sends Percy those weird dreams remember? Of the weird Cyclops trying to marry him XD

          • Haha, yes xD

    • Yes I agree it doesn’t look faithful to the books at all.

I think I’m going to have to keep my bias of having read the book from influencing my review. I’m just going to review it like I would any other film. :)

OMG! I really want to see this, it looks like they are actually going to try and keep to the book plot this time!

Maybe I’m wrong, but the lead actor seems a bit older for this role and doesn’t look convincing anymore.
