So happy to see him getting stuff and not just disappearing. He’s a great actor and I hope that these scripts do him justice!

Sadly, the few things Smith has been in so far haven’t been the most sucsefil films ever (just look at “Lost River”). Hopefully this will be a film worthy of his brilliant acting skills. He really does deserve to make it big.

I think Terminator is his real ticket out of the Whoniverse

  • Do you think they will say “Patient Zero will vacate the human residence, or the human residence will be incinerated!” :P

Good for him. Well on his way to becoming a regular in our movies. Am keen to see Lost River as I have only heard excellent things about Matt, although the movie got quite mixed reviews overall and also look forward to seeing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as he will make an excellent Mr Collins. Sounds as though 2015 will be Matt’s big breakthrough year internationally with these films underway and the first of the Terminator trilogy hitting the big screens. Well deserved success for a remarkably talented actor and very wise head on young shoulders. As David Tennant’s career slips after the disaster of Gracepoint and the disappointing reaction to his return to the RSC, it’s good to see other doctors getting their fair share of attention. Christopher Eccleston is another doing great things this year with The Leftovers and Fortitude coming along shortly. And well, what can you say about how magnificent Peter Capaldi has been this year as the new doctor. I did love Matt to bits in the role but I have to admit Peter is the total goods in the role.
