• Great analysis!

Admittedly, I’ve never been keen on superheroes comics or movies, until Age of Ultron made me want to go back and get myself familiar with the MCU. The stuff is amazing – it’s like an epic TV show (with story arcs and tight continuity and post-credits cliffhangers and everything), only in cinemas!

I can’t wait for Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about Thor: Ragnarok, since I didn’t enjoy the previous two Thor movies much (despite the latter feeling like a crossover between Doctor Who and Half-Life/Portal) – they were good, yes, but not great, IMO. I’m excited to see what Loki is up to next though! I would have also loved there to be more Iron Man solo movies (can Pepper get her own Iron Man suit please? I’ve heard that happened in the original comics anyway!), since they were my favourite in Phases 1-2 (apart from the first Avengers movie, of course). And of course, a sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy is going to be a great pleasure.

As for the rest, they will be focusing on characters that are practically new to me, so I’m looking forward to meeting them! Captain Marvel seems particularly thrilling.
