David is perfect for the role. He plays the sinister gentleman quite well.

I assume he’s an American villain? The only problem with that is Tennant’s American accent isn’t exactly great

They don’t have to be accurate to comics exactly.

MCU takes a lot less from the comics than people seem to think. I’m sure they’ll use a different speaking voice, maybe the accent he used for DW. Just the accent though, not the persona.

…and he’s playing a major villain. Purple Man is a big deal to Daredevil and Jones. Love that he’s not just in one episode. He might be the series antagonist.

Oh he definitely is going to be heavily involved. The Purple Man and Jessica share a pretty f*cked up bond especially after what he did to her…..

  • Deus Ex Machina

Awesome news. I’ve just finished watching the first season of “Broadchurch” and I’m a big fan of “Doctor Who”, especially his era. He’s a great actor because he can play anything from the nicest guys ever to a sinister and twisted psychopath.

So now that we’ve gotten Ecclestein and Tennant, is Matt Smith the next Doctor to jump on the Marvel band wagon? I won’t be complaining.
