I’m so glad I watched this series. I missed the first 2 episodes but I caught up. I suppose that puts me at a disadvantage guessing who did it, but I don’t really care. Tennant has really stolen the show for the entire series, although Arthur also displayed some amazing acting. I’ll be sure to be here after the episode with my reaction.

Wow. Interesting results. I reckon that Tom knows something, but I don’t know if he’s the actual killer. He might be, but I don’t think he is. Well, only 1 hour and a half to go before we find out :-O

Intriguing results, but I think they would have been a lot more different now. Also, I have a question; is tonight’s finale longer than usual?

      No

      By five minutes, yes.

I’m betting on the journalist fella. If it’s not him, I’ll go for ‘Other Miller‘. Then I reckon ‘Little Miller‘ is covering up for him.

I reckon Chloe or possibly even the mother. I think Tom and Suan are too obvious. My mother think’s it’s D.I. Hardy. Can’t wait ’till 9:00pm! :D

The Broadchurch finale, oh thank the Lord – I can’t wait.

Thanks to all who took part in the poll; its very interesting seeing all your predictions. My review’ll be out tomorrow, and all those not wanting to know who it is, stay away!

Patrick, you’re going to have a lot to say in your review :-O I actually cried at the end! That’s only happened twice!!

Truly brilliant ending to an outstanding series. That ending, that was a stroke of pure emotional genius. Chris, I applaud you!

After Broadchurch, Chris Chibnall is who I want for the next Who showrunner. Definitely.

Yep. He wasn’t on my top three list 3 months ago. 3 hours ago, he was 2nd on my list. 45 minutes ago, he became 1st on my list

Don’t shoot me, but no. I don’t feel sci-fi is Chris’ genre. He has suddenly become one of my favourite writers though.

I’d have to agree with @TheOncomingHurricane:disqus . Chibnall is far better at writing drama than sci-fi. He’s done such a tremendous job with Broadchurch. I look forward to seeing what he has in store for Series 2.

  • The Centre Of The Hurricane

Wow, that ending. So powerful. I haven’t cried so much since The Angels Take Manhattan. Can’t wait for Series 2!

  • Pdurston

What a fantastic ending to what’s been a tremendous series. I honestly feel this is what crime drama’s lack these days: what it actually means to lose someone
and how this affects everyone. They’re so superficial. But Broadchurch managed it with intelligence and maturity – reinvigorating the tired, old ‘whodunnit’ genre. Chibnall, if Series 2 is as good as the first, then you will be forever praised, if you aren’t already. Thank you.
