      He’s called the Vision. In the comics he was created by Ultron to destroy the Avengers, but ended up swapping sides and becoming an Avenger himself. He’s being played by Paul Bettany, who voices JARVIS.

        Oh, so THAT’S Vision! I know who he is; I just didn’t recognize him because this is the first time he’s been formally revealed (I like how the light keeps him in silhouette so as to keep his new design a secret).

          Yes, he’s been Marvel’s worst kept secret. Just Google search “Age of Ultron Vision” and there’s plenty of pictures of him, despite Marvel’s best efforts to keep his appearance a surprise.

  • An important thing a lot of sites are missing is that this poster confirms a few returning characters – the cast list in tiny print below the main image includes Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwell, Idris Elba and Stellan Skarsgard, meaning the film is going to include Falcon, Peggy Carter, Heimdall and Erik Selvig in some capacity.
