    I wonder how much will change with regards to the film. If they stick to the same narrative, there will be less incentive for people who have already seen the film to bother with the TV series.

      I know what you mean. The ending is one if the things that defines the film, but if you know the ending, the whole thing is pretty pointless.

        I suppose, they have to make characters that you *really* like.
        Romeo + Juliet spoils the ending for everyone at the beginning, but you want to know how they get there.

        I suppose, they can keep the ending, just change how they get there. It could work. Or it could be frustrating as someone who knows how it ends wondering how long it’ll take.
